PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After high school she worked in a factory where they made clothing and hats for a number of years. After her marriage Jose and herself owned and operated a grocery store in New York City from 1962-1970. They then moved to Puerto Rico and after Jose’s death she moved to Dorchester in 2000 to be close to her son, Jose and his family. She enjoyed cooking, flower gardening, dancing and especially her family. Luz was a very religious woman.
