THOMAS O. KAUER

Thomas O. Kauer passed away on Monday, November 28.
Thomas was born in La Crosse on May 4, 2016 to Matthew and Casey (Robers) Kauer. He spent his life bringing joy to others with his contagious smile.
Thomas is survived by his parents, Matthew and Casey Kauer of Sparta; brother Dalton of Sparta; grandparents Ronald and Mary Kauer of Rib Lake; grandparents Michael and Brenda Robers of Tripoli; and numerous other uncles, aunts, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday December 3 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Rib Lake with Reverend Otto Bucher O.F.M. Cap officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday at the church from 9 AM until the time of service at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Rib Lake.

She waitressed at Strama’s Restaurant, worked at Woodland Marketing & Great Northern Cabinetry for periods of time. She enjoyed fishing, painting art works, gardening, her animals, and spending time with her family.

PRINCIPLE EVENTS IN LIFE: After her education, she taught at the Mathey School in the Town of Medford for a short period of time. She clerked at the Medford Co-op for a period of time. Worked as a housewife/mother for most of her life. They owned & operated a mink ranch in the Town of Medford for a period of time. She enjoyed quilting, traveling to Nicaragua where she taught sewing & has a learning center named after her, making Amish dolls, bowling and painting. She was a leader of the Thrifty Go-Getters 4-H Club.
