PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Ted served in the U.S. Army as a Special Honor Guard in Japan. He helped guard Emperor Hirohito from 1946 to 1947. He also shot over US soldiers’ gravesites at the US cemetery in Nagasaki. After completing his military service, Ted owned and operated a dairy farm in Perkinstown from 1947-1966. During this time he also did logging for numerous years. Ted also worked for Ed Hong Road Construction in Eau Claire as a heavy machine operator until his retirement in 1998. He also served as Supervisor for the Town of Grover for two years. Ted enjoyed hunting, woodworking, digging wild ginseng, fishing and making maple syrup.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Ella P. Fischer of Medford

He was stationed in California as an airplane mechanic and was honorably discharged on January 22, 1943. Fuzzy then moved to Medford and worked at Hurd Millwork as a machinist for 24 years. He then began employment at Weathershield as manger of the Weathershield Vinyl Division from February 1970 until his retirement in April 1986.
Fuzzy enjoyed playing golf, gardening, wood working and metal working.

Roy also worked at various cheese factories as head cheese maker for 40 years.. He enjoyed playing cards, trips to the casino, his coffee clutch gatherings at the Thorp Dairy Bar and the Thorpedo. Roy enjoyed going for drives and visiting his family.

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After school Ed worked at Mundt Car Dealership in Stetsonville and entered the U.S. Army where he was stationed in the Lucien Islands during WWII. After his time in the service Ed came back and worked at Mundt Car Dealership in Stetsonville as a mechanic for 25 years. He then worked at Handel Motors in Stetsonville as a mechanic for a period of time. In 1962 Ed and Lorraine owned and operated Ed’s Standard in Stetsonville, now known as Ed’s service and Auto Body. Ed and Lorraine also owned and operated school buses for Stetsonville and then the Medford Area School District from 1960-1973. He ran Stock Cars in his younger years and enjoyed watching baseball.

MEMBER OF: Lifetime Member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Stetsonville and the Disabled American Veteran. He was also a Charter Member of the Boxrucker-Berry American Legion Post #519, Stetsonville for the past 65 years, the Klossner-Dietzler VFW #5729, Medford and the Catholic Order of Foresters.
