After his time in the Military Ray returned home and worked for Gottschalk of Edgar, Peterson of Medford and Keyes of Milwaukee for a number of years. He then owned and operated his own Bulldozing business for a number of years. They also owned and operated a small dairy farm in the Town of Goodrich for a number of years and then owned and operated a small dairy farm in the Town of Holway for 7 years until his retirement in 1992. Ray enjoyed fishing, music, playing the concertina and accordion, reading history books, snowmobiling, playing and watching baseball.

In Ron’s retirement he worked at County Market part time until the time of his death. Ron enjoyed snowmobiling, deer hunting, fishing, pontooning, watching the Packers and drinking a beer with friends. He also enjoyed going for walks with Murphy III, his Airedale Terrier. Ron played and managed for the Miller High-Lifers Softball Team and also played for Ear’s Old Stylers.

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After her marriage, she worked as a housewife/mother/homemaker while residing in the town of Little Black. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting & baking. She donated hundreds of knitted mittens to church functions, and newborn baby caps for the hospital.

She enjoyed traveling, crocheting, knitting, music, dancing, playing the accordion and guitar. Harriet always took care of everyone.
