PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After college, Fred entered the U.S. Army where he served during the Korean War from September 1951 to August 1953. They moved to Altoona, Wisconsin in 1962 and lived until 1977 where he worked as a sales representative for the Nagle-Hart Caterpillar Dealership in Eau Claire. From 1977-1979 they moved to Marquette where he was a sales representative for Kramer Machinery. They then moved to Medford where he worked as a Project Manager/Civil Engineer at James Peterson’s Son Inc. until his retirement in 1995. They then moved back to Houghton where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, the "Camp". He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

Randine was an avid reading, enjoyed fishing, decorating for weddings, crafts and sewing. She enjoyed spending time her family and her dog, Jumper.

He then returned to Cudahy where he worked as a machinist at Ladish Co. for 39 ½ years until his retirement. He enjoyed reading, bowling camping, and being by the water, especially fishing.
