TIME & PLACE OF SERVICES: 11:00 AM Monday, October 4 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford

OFFICIATING: Father Gerard Willger & Deacon Joe Stefancin

INTERMENT: Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery, Medford

VISITATION: 4-8 PM Sunday, October 3 at Hemer Funeral Home where there will be a 7:00 PM Catholic rosary service held that evening and also from 9:00AM until 10:45 AM on Monday, October 4 at the funeral home

DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: August 17, 1935 at Calumet, MI

EDUCATION: Calumet, MI elementary schools, 1952 graduate of Calumet High school, 1982 graduate of UW-Stevens Point with a BS in elementary education

MARRIAGE: September 4, 1954 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Laurium, MI to Kenneth H. Hallgren and he preceded her in death February 4, 2010

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: For most all of her adult life she worked as a housewife & mother. Prior to her marriage she resided in Laurium, MI. After marriage, they resided in various places while raising their family. They moved to Medford in 1974 & she worked as a tax preparer for H & R Block, co-owned & managed the Medford Fitness Club from 1984-1989, co-owned & did bookkeeping work for B & B Engineering for over 25 years and did substitute teaching for the Medford school district. She enjoyed curling, bowling, golfing, gardening, sewing, collecting dolls, reading & most of all her family.

MEMBER OF: Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford, where she had served on various committees and taught religious education. She served as a director for the Frances L. Simek library in Medford and served on the City of Medford planning commission for periods of time.

SURVIVING CHILDREN: Sandra (Keith) Wendlandt of Sturgeon Bay, WI, Janet (Robert) Reimann & Nancy (Chester) Kwiesielewicz both of Merrill, twin sons-Brent (Juleen) & Brian (Elaine) Hallgren both of Medford, Mary (Mick) Magalski of Hortonville, WI
