PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Erna moved to the United States in 1952 and worked at the Riverside Hotel in Medford until her marriage. Her and her husband then owned and operated a farm in the Town of Hammel her entire life until the early 1980’s. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, crafts, knitting, sewing and playing cards. Erna also enjoyed traveling, especially to Washington to visit her family.
