MARRIAGE INFORMATION: June 1, 1943 at St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester to Amelia M. Schmid and she preceded him in death on November 22, 2007.
PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: As a young man, Roland worked on the family dairy farm and also worked as an electrician with his father. Upon marriage, Roland and Amelia purchased the Schneider Homestead where they operated the dairy farm, which then became a mink ranch until retirement in 1967. Roland was also an inventor and has numerous patents. They then moved to the Town of Medford where they operated a Sugarbush. Roland was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
