DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: March 12, 1918 in Chicago, IL

EDUCATION: Attended Florence Nightingale Graded School in Chicago and also Kelly High School

MARRIAGE INFORMATION: 1st: July 17, 1937 at Peace Lutheran Church in Chicago, IL to Rudolph O. Sulko and he preceded her in death on July 5, 1981. 2nd: February 16, 1985 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Prentice to Wilbert Sulko and he preceded her in death on June 30, 1995.

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Vera worked at Francis Willard Hospital until 1938, where she met her husband, Rudolph. In 1945, they moved to a home on Macky Spur Road. In 1965 she started working for the Prentice School District in the kitchen, until her retirement in 1980. She enjoyed baking, helping in the church kitchen for any occasion. Vera also enjoyed traveling, birds, helping others and visiting with neighbors.

LIFETIME MEMBER OF: the Prentice VFW.
Also a member of the AMVETS Post #2298 in Panama City, FL

SURVIVING CHILDREN: 2 Sons: Philip (Karen) Sulko of Medford and Duane Sulko of Panama City, FL
Daughter: Diane (Martin) Heier of Medford
Step-Children: Anthony (Debbie) Sulko of Wausau, David Sulko of Burnsville, MN and Christine Krawczyk of Prentice

GRANDCHILDREN: Carrie (Chris) Freas of St. Paul, MN, Jason (Dawn) Heier of Medford, Josh (Stacie) Heier of Beaver Dam, Scott (Tammy) Sulko of Florence, MS and Stephanie Sulko of Pearl, MS
Step-Grandchildren: Laura (Jason) Pahl of Wausau, Adam (Nikki) Sulko of Kenosha and Sara Sulko of Wausau

SURVIVING HALF SISTER: Marlene Greco of Wisconsin Rapids
