DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: March 27, 1924 in Spirit

EDUCATION: Attended Spirit Center Grade School, 1942 Graduate of Tri-County High School in Tripoli

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After High School, Robert entered the U. S. Marines, where he served in the 1st Marine Division in the Pacific during WWII. After his service in the military, he worked for A.L Jackson Construction Co. for 23 years as a carpenter and general laborer. Bob was later employed through the Labor Union as a carpenter for 23 years until his retirement in 1988. He enjoyed bowling, reading at the library, talking about old times, taking pictures, snowmobiling, and exercising.

MEMBER OF: AFL-CIO Carpenters Union Local # 58 and AFL-CIO Labor Union Local # 3 of Chicago, IL,  F & A.M. King Oscar Lodge # 855, & Swedish American Recreation Club in Chicago, IL. Former member of Zion Lutheran Church

SURVIVNG NEPHEW: Harold (Emily) Swenson of Brantwood

BROTHERS/SISTERS DECEASED: 2 Twin Brothers who died at birth, 2 Sisters Ruth Swenson & Della Anderson

DECEASED FATHER:  Fred C. Anderson

DECEASED MOTHER: Lena Anderson (Maiden Name: Vierqutz)

PALLBEARERS: Loren & Paul Nelson, Clarence & Joe Johnson, George Hedstrom, & Ben Kauer

OTHER INFORMATION:  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Robert’s family to be designated at a later date. Hemer Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake is assisting the family with arrangements.
