VISITATION: 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. Sunday, September 15 at the Hemer Funeral Home, Medford and also from 10:00 until the time of services at 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 16 at the Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Medford

DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: December 31, 1920 at Minneapolis, Minnesota

EDUCATION: Attended Gad School

MARRIAGE: August 4, 1942 in Dubuque, Iowa to Leona A. Dassow and she preceded him in death on August 6, 2013

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Served in the U.S. Army from 1944-1946, where he received the purple heart. Lorin owned and operated Gad Cheese Factory from 1959 until his retirement in 1984. He enjoyed his trips to Canada for fishing every year and was an avid reader, especially of westerns. Lorin enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, traveling and trips to the casino.

SURVIVING CHILDREN: Lorna Chipman of Medford, George (Donna) of Niceville, Florida, Bruce (Diane) of Gad, Gary (Georgine) of Medford and Larry (Fiancé Jane Lekie) of Medford

GRANDCHILDREN DECEASED: Michael and David Albrecht

15 Grandchildren; 17 Great-Grandchildren

SURVIVING SISTER: Loretta Vogt of Mesa, Arizona
