EDUCATION: Graduate of Rib Lake High School; Attended North Central Technical College where he received a Certificate of Completion in Agriculture
MARRIAGE: August 6, 1960 at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Rib Lake to Jeanette E. Steinman
PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Robert served in the U.S. Army from 1956-1959. He then worked as a Foreman/Operator for Highway Pavers in Milwaukee until 1972, where he owned and operated a dairy farm in the Township of Greenwood until his son; Robert took it over in 1991. Robert then drove truck for Bauer until his retirement in 2003. He also did logging his entire life. He enjoyed hunting, trapping, fishing, playing baseball, golf, dart ball and bowling. Robert also enjoyed making maple syrup.
