DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: June 23, 1927 in Perkinstown

EDUCATION: 1945 Graduate of Medford High School

MARRIAGE: May 22, 1948 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Medford to Harold Bartelt, where they celebrated 65 years.

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After school Frances worked at the Creamery in Medford, met Harold and was married. She then was a homemaker and helped on the farm. In 1959, they then moved to the Milwaukee area where she worked at the Amron Corp. In June of 1973 they moved back to the Medford area where she was a housewife, worked at the Rib Lake shoe factory and Weathershield in the Millwork Dept. until her retirement in 1987. Frances was also the bookkeeper for her husband’s business. She loved to fish from morning to evening, baking cookies, especially for Christmas and reading the Bible.

SURVIVING CHILDREN: Terry (Barbara) Bartelt of Oak Creek, Harold (Jayne) Bartelt of Longview, Washington, Edward (Laura) Bartelt of Cape Coral, Florida, Ronald (Sue) Bartelt of Muskego, Karen (Andy) Prado of West Allis and Jeffrey Bartelt of Medford

SURVIVING SISTER: Marcella Saltis of Longview, Washington
