EDUCATION: She attended Pearl City, IL Grade Schools, is a graduate of Pearl City High School and attended Beauty Culture School at Rockford, IL

MARRIAGE: 1942 at Loran, Illinois to LaVerle Bicker and he was killed during WWII.
2nd: December 16, 1951 in Lena, Illinois to Leo A. Boelk and he preceded her in death on July 22, 2009

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Gladys worked as a telephone operator in Illinois for a period of time. She owned and operated Kramer Motel in Medford for 4 years. Gladys and Leo owned and operated a dairy farm in the Thorp area for 7 years. Previously she and Leo owned and operated a trucking firm as well as drove a school bus in Illinois for 5 years. Gladys was also a house wife and mother and enjoyed needlework, embroidery, and milking cows.
