MARGARET A. RIEHLE

Margaret A. Riehle, 86, died Monday, February 10th, 2014 at Memorial Nursing Home Center in Medford where she had resided for the past two years and under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.

Margaret A. Heinz was born on January 5, 1928 in Medford to Jacob and Emma (Maiden Name: Brunner) Heinz. She attended Medford area schools and was a graduate of Medford High School.

Her marriage to George A. Riehle took place on April 17, 1948 at Medford and he preceded her in death on May 10, 2002. They moved to the Milwaukee area and later returned to the Gad area where they farmed for 35 years. In addition to farming, she worked at the Medford Nursing Home. She enjoyed sewing and embroidery work. Margaret was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Stetsonville.

Survivors include two daughters, Vera Ann Block of Stetsonville, and Dawn (Randall) Swacker of Jacksonville FL, two sons Val Riehle of the Township of Goodrich and Everett (Martha) Riehle of Eau Claire, three granddaughters, Kristine Woebbeking of Medford, Melissa (Roger) Petrick of Medford, and Tammy (David) Price of Jacksonville, Florida. Four Great- Grandchildren, Trenton and Trevor Woebbeking and Kyle and Kelly Petrick all of Medford. Sister, Mary Blakemore of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, husband George Riehle, sisters Lucille Kleiber, Bertha Backstrom, brother Bill Heinz and son-in-law Warren Block.

Funeral Services for Margaret will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 13 at the Hemer Funeral Home, Medford with visitation being from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 13 at the Funeral Home. Father Gerard Willger officiating. Honorary Pallbearers are Great Grandchildren: Trenton and Trevor Woebbeking and Kyle and Kelly Petrick. Cremainal Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Stetsonville Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Margaret’s family to be designated at a later date. Hemer Funeral Service of Medford is assisting the family with arrangements.
