INTERMENT: Cremainal Inurnment will be held following the service at Perkinstown Cemetery, where military honors will be performed.

VISITATION: 9:30 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM, at Hemer Funeral Home, Medford Chapel.

DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: May 2, 1934 in Spooner, WI.

EDUCATION: Graduated from Spooner High School in Spooner, WI.

MARRIAGE: Married Adella Belle Moyer in Trego, WI in 1953.

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Don served in the US Army, and was a Korean War Veteran. He worked for Fruedenhauls Manufacturing and retired from there in January of 2015. Don enjoyed putting puzzles together with his wife. He loved to spend his time outdoors fishing, working in his vegetable and flower gardens, pontooning and camp fires. He built many different items out of wood which filled his yard, including bird feeder stands, arched trellis, garden walkways, and picture frames for the puzzles he and Adella put together. He also enjoyed watching Western shows, especially with his favorite actor; John Wayne. Don was truly devoted to his entire family, and his main passion was his wife, Adella, whom he loved dearly.

SURVIVING CHILDREN: Donald ( Ilona) Moen of Cochran, WI, Patty (John “David”) Neubauer of Medford, WI, Jerry (Erin) Moen of Morenci, AZ, Dawn (Keith) Lipinski of Athens, WI, James “Jim” Moen of Medford, WI, Henry Moen of Stetsonville, WI.
