EDUCATION: Medford Area Elementary & Middle Schools, 1983 graduate of Medford Sr. High School, attended UW-Eau Claire and received a degree in health and physical education from UW-La Crosse
MARRIAGE: November 11, 1989 at Gurnee, IL to Brian Brown and they were divorced in Dec. 2013
PRINCIPLE EVENTS IN LIFE: After her education, she taught at youth camps for a period of time. After her marriage, they resided at Duncan, AZ, Prescott, AZ and Darlington, WI where she taught physical education while in AZ. They moved to Medford and took over the family oil business for a short period of time. Then they moved to Colorado Springs, CO where she was a health & physical education teacher until ill health. She enjoyed teaching swimming to adults, hiking and traveling.

SURVIVING BROTHERS/SISTERS: Brother – Jon Gruny of Chippewa Falls, WI
BROTHERS/SISTERS DECEASED: Brothers – Mark “Spanky” Gruny in 2001 & Michael Gruny in 2014
SURVIVING PARENTS: Mother – Irene (Smith) Gruny of Medford
DECEASED FATHER: Robert J. Gruny in 2008
