Herman C. Dohrwardt, Jr., 85, of Medford, passed away Wednesday January 18, 2017 at his home. Herman was born March 18, 1931 in Medford to Herman and Anna (Haney) Dohrwardt. They precede him in death. He married Ardella Dassow at Trinity Lutheran Church on October 5, 1963. Ardella survives. He is further survived by Children: Ricky (Nancy) Dohrwardt of Rib Lake, Randy (Katrina) Dohrwardt of Medford, Ryan (Bobbie) Dohrwardt of Pulaski, Renee (David) Jacobsen of Medford and Rod (Muzzy) Dohrwardt of Medford, Grandchildren: Mikey, Taran, Brett, Wyatt, Amanda and Zach Dohrwardt, and Nicole Jacobsen. Herman worked as a carpenter for several companies in the Medford area, and owned his own dairy farm. He worked for Weathershield on the production line, and also volunteered at the Sr. Citizen center. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, carpentry work and watching Nascar. Per Hermans request, cremation rites have been accorded, and no services will be held. Hemer Funeral Service of Medford and Rib Lake has been entrusted with arrangements.
