DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: March 25, 1928 in the Township of Holway

EDUCATION: Town of Holway elementary schools and was a graduate of Medford High School

MARRIAGE: August 25, 1951 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford to June Ann Freudenthal

PRINCIPLE EVENTS IN LIFE: After his education, he hauled milk, did logging work, farmed in the Town of Holway and worked at the Taylor County Highway Department for 30 years until his retirement in 1990. He enjoyed fishing, ball games, hunting, dancing, his faith, family and friends. He played baseball for the Holway Baseball Team for a number of years.

MEMBER OF: Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford, Medford Knights of Columbus, and was a past member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Stetsonville

SURVIVING SPOUSE: June A. Butkus of Medford

SURVIVING CHILDREN: Dale (Donna) Butkus of Owen, Dave “Crocket” (Penny) Butkus of Owen, Lynn Butkus of Medford, Kris (Robert) Ruf of Elkhorn, Scott (Anne) Butkus of Medford
