He enjoyed gardening, help taking care of the animals on the farm, fishing, bird hunting, going for drives, reading and watching the Brewers. Ray also built and maintained Martin Houses.

Her passion for growing flowers earned her the reputation as the “flower lady”. Sharing her wide variety of flowers, fruits, vegetables, and baked goods was just one trait of her generosity.

While farming, he drove school bus, hauled milk, did woods work and hauled lime for Herman Eggert. He drove bus for Black River Industries in Medford until 2009. He enjoyed visiting with people, puzzles, bird watching/feeding, hunting, traveling and coffee clutches. He was a past town of Hammel town chairman and fire warden.

MEMBER OF: Community United Church of Christ, Medford where he was a past council president. Medford FFA Alumni, Central WI DHIA board member; ASCS board of Taylor Co.

In his retirement, Willis drove truck for J. Bauer for a period of time. He enjoyed mowing lawn, snowmobiling, stock car racing, his dogs and spending time with his family.
