PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After her marriage, they moved to Wisconsin residing in various places before settling in Antigo in 1955. She worked for the Antigo School District for a period of years. In her earlier years she obtained a private pilot’s license. During her whole life she spent the summer months at the cabin on Mondeaux Flowage in the Township of Westboro, Taylor County. She enjoyed playing bridge, skiing, fishing, her dogs, and Packer football.

FRANCES L. WEBB

1915-2013
Frances Louise (Chambers) Webb was born on July 2, 1915 to the late Charles and Mabel Chambers of Logansport, IN. She graduated from the Carrollton High School, the Kokomo School of Music and the Jacques Modeling School.
On June 29, 1938, she was united in marriage to her loving and devoted husband, George Webb, at Galveston, IN. Frances and George enjoyed 72 years of wedded bliss. She enjoyed being a stay at home mom to their two children, daughter, Carol, and son, Paul, both of Medford.
Later in life she modeled ladies' fashion for a few years and also became a saleslady. She is a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star and a member of the First Baptist Church of Medford.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Emmajane; and husband, George. Mourning her loss are her children; grandchildren, Scott and Amanda; great-grandson, Tristan; sister, Mary Margaret; brother, Robert; and sister-in-law, Mary Lee.
Visitation will be held at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford on Thursday, Feb. 7 from 4 PM until the Order of Eastern Star services at 7 PM, and at church on Friday, Feb. 8 from 10 AM until the time of service. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 AM at First Baptist Church in Medford, followed by a luncheon.

After the service, he worked in logging camps of Oregon from 1947-1951. He returned to Milwaukee working as a siding contractor and also at A.O. Smith for 17 years until retirement in 1979. Moved to Medford in 1993 and served on the Medford City Council for a period of time. He enjoyed playing cards, fishing, hunting & polka music.

Everett worked at Armbrust Meats, Rief Motors, Medford Police Department and the Township of Medford. He also drove bus for Krug’s Westside Bus Service. Everett was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also enjoyed woodworking and snowmobiling.

He then dairy farmed in the Town of Little Black for a period of time and then purchased the Baumgartner farm in the Town of Little Black until his son, Steve took it over in 1993. Glenn would still go out every morning to help Steve out. He enjoyed driving around, eating breakfast at Rocky’s, fishing, playing sheep head and all of his grandchildren.
