PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After graduation she married Richard Campbell. They enjoyed forty married years, filled with travel, antiquing, good books and long conversations over strong coffee. As a Navy wife, she and Richard lived in Washington, Japan and Virginia, along with their two sons, Douglas and Paul. They lived in Virginia for many years, where she worked for the US Navy as a Contracting Officer. Yet, her heart remained in the Wisconsin Northwoods, near her beloved Black River. In her final days, she returned to the Medford area, where she passed on in her father’s home.

He then was a Meat cutter for Medford County Market for the last 6 years until his retirement in May 2011. Ben enjoyed camping, bowling, mowing lawn, snow blowing, trips to the casino traveling and most of all spending time with his family.

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After her education, while residing in Omaha, NE she worked overseeing a claims department for an insurer. In May of 1965 she moved to Medford and worked at Klinner Insurance and Hurd Millwork for periods of time. After the coming of children, she excelled in being a contented homemaker and farmers wife. Many years she made ready the home for Sunday morning fellowship meetings, giving each one a warm welcome, and a spiritual encouragement. She leaves beautiful hand stitched quilts, sewn garments and a host of pleasant memories. Granny Lyn will long be remembered with love.

He was a volunteer leader with the National Guard cadet program for a number of years. He enjoyed hunting, art work, working with the developmentally disabled and he loved his children & people.

Her pride and joy in her life were her 9 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Evangeline loved to dance, cook, work in her garden, sew and read romance novels. She also enjoyed doing charity work. Her most fulfilling charitable work was taking care of newborn foster babies for Catholic Charities. She loved these babies and took care of them as her own. She will be greatly missed by her family. We love her very much.
