DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: November 8, 1913 at Kempton, Indiana

EDUCATION: George was educated in the Indiana school system and graduated from Purdue University with a BS in Electrical Engineering along with one-year postgraduate study in Metallurgy

MARRIAGE INFORMATION: 72 years of married life together with Frances Chambers and she survives

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: George’s engineering interest was in the design of electrical products for automobiles. He had 15 U.S. patents. His designs were put into production by the Essex Wire Corp. to supply Ford and Chrysler automobiles. In Indiana, George supported the Baptist Church where he taught Sunday school and was a deacon. They have resided in Medford since 1994. His hobbies included fishing, golf, ham radio, stamp collecting, and miniature railroads.
