PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After school Ed worked at the Bootzin Feed Store for a year. He then worked at Hurd Millwork as a machine operator for a period of time. After their marriage they owned and operated a dairy farm in the Town of Little Black until 1972. He then owned and operated his own business where he did carpentry, home building and remodeling and furniture until his retirement in 1984. In his younger years Ed enjoyed square dancing. He also enjoyed bowling, woodworking, caning chairs, and playing cards.
