VISITATION AT: 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, March 24 at the Hemer Funeral Home, Medford and also from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services at 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 25
DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: October 20, 1925 in the Town of Little Black
EDUCATION: Attended Little Black Schools and was a 1943 Graduate of Medford High School
MARRIAGE INFORMATION: June 13, 1953 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Medford to Marjorie A. Frahmann and she survives
PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Wayne served in the U.S. Army from 1954-1956. He worked for Midway in Medford as a lineman for a short period of time. Wayne also worked for E.J. Crane Feed Mill in Medford and also during this time he worked for Damm Brother’s Sawmill, Medford and Schuster Construction, Medford. He then began working at Hurd in Medford until his retirement. Shorty was an avid fisherman and bowler. He enjoyed throwing horseshoes and playing cards, especially sheep head and smear. Shorty all enjoyed attending ball games.
