PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: William served in the U.S. Army during WWII from 1942 – 1945 being stationed in New Guinea. After returning home, he worked for his father’s floral business where he purchased the business with his brother, Ervin in 1957. They owned and operated Thomas Floral until his retirement in 1980. He was an avid reader, enjoyed golfing, hunting, traveling and playing cards.
PAST MEMBER OF: United Church of Christ, Medford, Medford Area Chamber of Commerce, Tee-Hi Golf Club, Medford Masonic Lodge #217 and the Timber Shrine. Served on the Medford City Council, Served on the Parks Committee on the County Board, Long time member of the Medford Electric Utility Commission and Served as President of the Black River Country Club. William was a charter member of the Medford Lions Club and the Klossner-Dietzler Post #5729
