PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: She and her husband farmed in the Town of Hammel until 1964, where they then moved to Medford. Ellen worked at the Fayette Hotel and the Gas Light Restaurant, where she served many meals for the Kiwanis. Ellen did housework for Emma Fitch until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and trees. Ellen loved cooking, baking, sewing, making quilts and pillows.
