the ages of 17 and 22 Ervin worked throughout the western states doing various labor
activities. After his marriage, he worked most of his life as a local logger.
Ervin enjoyed deer hunting, sports, softball, horse shoe, shooting pool, wood
working, craft making and spending time with his family.
