PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After his education he worked at Hurd Millwork in Medford until entering the U.S. Army, Veteran of W.W.II. After the service he returned to Hurd Millwork where he worked until retirement in 1991. He enjoyed bowling, woodworking, bird watching, and his cats.

MEMBER OF: Lifetime member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners, Local 1025 where he served as financial secretary for many years.

SURVIVING SPOUSE: Geneva Knippel of Medford

SURVIVING CHILDREN: James (Debra) Knippel of Medford and Ann (William) Rezutek of Madison

# OF GRANDCHILDREN: Four Grandchildren: Preston and Emerson Knippel, Alexander and Amanda Rezutek, and two step-grandchildren: Sadie Ahlers and Gene Gallistel
