MARRIAGE INFORMATION: October 9, 1940 at St. Mary’s Church in Holway to Matthew S. Nowak and he preceded her in death on June 30, 1990.

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Josephine worked at the Woodland Hotel in Owen for several years. Her and her husband then purchased a dairy farm in 1944 where they owned and operated it until 1977. She then worked as a dietary aide at the Medford Hospital for 20 years until her retirement. Jo was an avid reader. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting, quilting, gardening, baking and puzzles.
