PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: He entered the U.S. Navy during WWII and served for 8 years. He then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1953 and served his country until 1960. He moved back to the Rib Lake area and began working for Hurd Millwork in Medford, as a millworker for 32 years until his retirement in 1991. Al played in various bands including the Ray Becker Orchestra and the Medicanes & Frankies Meloderes. Al enjoyed woodworking, playing the drums, hunting and fishing.
