PLACE OF BURIAL: Mount Olive Cemetery, Westboro

VISITATION AT: Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Rib Lake from 4-8 PM on Monday, July 2 where there will be a 7:30 PM Catholic prayer service held that evening and also from 9 AM until time of funeral mass at 11 AM on Tuesday, July 3

DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: March 3, 1960 at Medford

EDUCATION: Baraboo, Westboro and Rib Lake elementary schools, 1978 graduate of Rib Lake High School

MARRIAGE INFORMATION: October 18, 2003 at Chelsea to Laurie Anderson and she survives

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After his education he worked as a service man for Weather Shield Mfg. in Medford. Then he worked maintenance for the Rib Lake school district for a period of time until ill health forced his retirement. He also owned and operated Night Owl Services in the surrounding area for a period of time. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, camping, his dogs, and spending time with family and friends.

MEMBER OF: Good Shepherd Catholic Church of Rib Lake, Westboro Volunteer Fire Dept. for 25+ years, Westboro Sanitary District, and was a present supervisor on the Westboro Town Board

SURVIVING SPOUSE: Laurie Gumz of Westboro

SURVIVING CHILDREN: Joseph Gumz of Plainview, MN, Tara Reamer of Westboro, Kendra (Dave) Eisner of Rib Lake; 3 Grandchildren – Tripp Reamer, Denver and Lillianna Gumz

SURVIVING BROTHERS/SISTERS: 2 Brothers – David (Judy) Gumz of Westboro and Jim (Kum Sun) Gumz of Panama City, FL

PARENTS: Mother – Lena Imbach Gumz of Westboro
