INTERMENT:   Lakeview Cemetery, Rib Lake 


VISITATION:  9:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 16 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Rib Lake


DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: February 17, 1927 in the Township of Greenwood, Taylor Co.


EDUCATION: Rib Lake public elementary schools


MARRIAGE: May 3, 1947 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Rib Lake to Edward Ziemke and he preceded her in death April 24, 1993


PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: They farmed in the Town of Rib Lake for many years.  While farming, she also cooked at Fawn Valley School and the Rib Lake school district for over 30 years until retirement.  She enjoyed baking, cooking, polka music, dancing, playing cribbage and spending time with her family

SURVIVING CHILDREN:  Daughter – Janice (Larry) Walters of Rib Lake; Son – Dean (Paul Grossberg) Ziemke of Madison; Grandsons – Brian (Karen) Walters of Brooklyn, NY, Sean Grossberg of  New York, NY, Jacob Ziemke of Madison; Great-Granddaughter :  Lauren Walters of Brooklyn, NY


CHILDREN DECEASED:  Grandson – Robert Walters


SURVIVING BROTHERS/SISTERS: Sister - Arlene (Steen) Wiensch of Glendale, AZ

Sister-in-law:  Marlene Steen of Tripoli, WI


BROTHERS/SISTERS DECEASED: Sister – Hazel Steen; Brother – Gilbert Steen

Brothers-in-law:  Richard & Harry Klug, Donald Taylor, Charles Winter, John Blaha, Herb Wiensch

Sisters-in-law:  Clara & Minnie Klug, Emma (Taylor) Winter, Ella Blaha
