EDUCATION: Phil graduated from Mount Scenario College in Ladysmith. He also attended Taylor County Teacher's College and Stevens Point State College
PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After his education, Phil began teaching in 1951 in Kennan, WI and at other Northern WI schools. He then taught in Prentice school district from 1956 until his retirement. Phil worked summers and weekends at the Medford Hospital. He enjoyed raising different species of birds and small animals.
