DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: August 17, 1922 at the Gad Cheese Factory, Town of Bern; Marathon County

EDUCATION: Attended Gad Grade School and a 1940 graduate of Medford High School

MARRIAGE: August 16, 1941 in Chicago, to Alvin “Bub” H. Janda and he preceded her in death on April 28, 2011

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Moved to Chicago for two years and worked as a mother’s helper. After their marriage, they moved back to the Medford area, where they owned and operated a dairy farm in the Town of Browning until 1989. Minnie was an obstetrics nurse tech for 35 years at the Memorial Health Center. She enjoyed painting, where she took lessons at Joe Obrien’s School of Art. She enjoyed taking trips with the Homemakers Tour Group and her husband and grandchildren. Minnie also taught leatherwork in the 4-H. She also enjoyed gardening.
