DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: March 10, 1954 at Plum City, WI

EDUCATION: 1972 graduate of Central High School, La Crosse; 1986 graduate of UW-La Crosse with a Bachelor of Science degree in mass communications & a minor in photography

MARRIAGE: 1st: to Fred Meyer at Frederic, WI in 1975 and they were later divorced; 2nd: To Roland Sacho at Medford in 2000 and he preceded her in death in 2004

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After her education she started employment as a reporter/photographer with The Star New in Medford in 1987. In 2005 she joined Hope Hospice & Palliative Care in Medford as a Manager of Volunteers until ill health forced her retirement in 2008. She was active in the Medford Reads program & one of the founding members of the Taylor County Volunteer Recognition Council.

MEMBER OF: Medford United Methodist Church and past member of the church council; Medford VFW Ladies Auxiliary; Past President of the Medford Kiwanis Club & past Lieutenant Governor for the WI-Upper Michigan Kiwanis District; Past president of the Medford Area Performing Arts Assn., the Medford Business & Professional Women’s organization, and United Way of Taylor County.

SURVIVING CHILDREN: Son – Anthony Meyer of Chippewa Falls
Grandson – Michael Meyer of Chippewa Falls

DECEASED CHILDREN: infant son - Michael

SURVIVING BROTHERS/SISTERS: Brothers – Dennis Davison of Fall River & Mark Davison of Hillsboro
