EDUCATION: White Oak consolidated school, Cambridge, IA; Graduate of Des Moines, IA Secretarial School


MARRIAGE: June 12, 1949 at Central Christian Church, Des Moines, IA to Bill D. Hayward and he preceded her in death December 18, 1997


PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After her education she worked as a secretary at Ginsberg of Des Moines, IA.  After her marriage, they moved to Bettendorf, IA where she worked as a secretary for Deere & Co. Plow Plant in Moline, IL for a period of years.  She spent most of her time as a housewife & mother, while also clerking at Yonkers in Bettendorf & Moline part time.  She moved to Medford, WI in 2005 to be close to her family.  She enjoyed taking care of her home, family and her church activities.

SURVIVING CHILDREN:  Daughter – Dawn (Jeff) Lemmenes of Medford, WI

Granddaughter – Katelyn Lemmenes of Milwaukee, WI


SURVIVING BROTHERS/SISTERS: Sister – Laura Ihrig of Omaha, NB


BROTHERS/SISTERS DECEASED: Galen Goughnour, Myrtle Gliem, Mary Tiffany, Lova Thornburg


DECEASED FATHER:    Frank Goughnour   DECEASED MOTHER:  Pearl (Woods) Goughnour
