PLACE, DATE & TIME OF DEATH:  3:45 PM Tuesday, April 9 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, Wausau where she had been a patient for the past 4 days

 

TIME & PLACE OF SERVICES: 1:00 PM Sunday, April 14 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford

 

OFFICIATING:  Father Gerard Willger & Deacon Joe Stefancin

 

INTERMENT:   Mount Olive Cemetery, Westboro 

 

VISITATION:  at Hemer Funeral Home, Medford from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Saturday, April 13 where there will also be a &7:00 PM Catholic prayer service held that evening and also from 12 noon to 12:45 PM on Sunday, April 14

 

DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: July 6, 1925 at Whittlesey, WI

 

EDUCATION: Winding Brook elementary school, Town of Chelsea, and attended Westboro High School

 

MARRIAGE: October 1, 1942 at Chelsea, WI to Alvin “Bud” A. Peterson and he preceded her in death April 12, 2004

 

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After her marriage, she did woods work, farmed in the Town of Chelsea, worked at A & M Mink Ranch of Chelsea, and for 17 years, worked at Tombstone Pizza Corp in Medford until retirement.  She enjoyed gardening, canning, baking, fishing, playing cards, and spending time with her family.

 

MEMBER OF:  Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford; Past member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Chelsea; Past President of the Chelsea Ladies Sodality

 

SURVIVING CHILDREN:  Lawrence “Larry” (Sue Noland) Peterson of Medford, Linda (Paul) Bogenschneider of Hendersonville, TN, Lyle (Linda) Peterson of Medford, Luanne (Steven) Fliehs of Medford

SURVIVING BROTHERS/SISTERS: Sisters-in-law:  Jenny “Elaine” Mayer of Medford, Dorothy Hoveland & Delores “Fenno” Reimann both of Westboro; Brother-in-law:  James (Mary Ann) Peterson of Medford
