PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After school he worked on various farms and did woodswork for a number of years. Ervin then worked at Stone Container in North Chicago until moving to the Stetsonville area in 1971. He worked at Packaging Corporation of America in Colby until his retirement in 2008. Ervin enjoyed working in the woods, camping, fishing, deer hunting, watching the Green Bay Packers, building bird houses and feeding the birds. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
