VISITATION: 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, January 29 at the Hemer Funeral Home, Medford and also from 9:30 A.M. until the time of services at 10:30 A.M. Friday, January 30 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Holway

DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: June 6, 1929 in the Township of Holway

EDUCATION: Attended Forest Grove Elementary School in the Township of Holway and a 1947 graduate of Owen High School

MARRIAGE: June 14, 1958 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Holway to Lois C. Berry

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Floyd served in the U.S. Army from July 7, 1954 until May 31, 1956. After his time in the service, he drove truck for Paul Brothers in Owen. Floyd then was a manager at Sauter Brothers in Dorchester from 1957 until 1987. He was also a manager at the C-Store in Dorchester until his retirement in 1991. In his retirement, Floyd enjoyed working out in the woods. He also enjoyed hunting, playing baseball, watching the Cubs and the Bears and reading western books.
