PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Prior to her marriage, she worked as a nanny in the Chicago area for a period of time. After her marriage, they resided out West where they worked for seasonal farms for a short period of time. Moved to the Township of Rib Lake where they farmed from 1938 until 1980. While farming, she also worked at the Rib Lake Cheese Factory and Gem Products in Rib Lake. In retirement she continued to work on the four generation family farm. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, feeding the birds, baking pies & bread, making soup, polka dancing, traveling, dart leagues and following the Green Bay Packers.
MEMBER OF: St. John’s Lutheran Church, Rib Lake and was a past member of its Ladies Aid Group; Past member of the Fawn Valley Mother’s Club and was a past leader of the Fawn Valley 4-H Club

Sons – Michael (Barb Becker) Polacek of Daytona Beach, FL, Doug (Janet) Polacek of Rib Lake, Tom Jr. (Linda) Polacek of Cape Coral, FL, Gary (Debra) Polacek of Rib Lake & Gene (Chris) Polacek of Rib Lake
