EDUCATION: Attended Medford Public Schools

MARRIAGE: December 26, 1942, he married Florence “Dolly” E. Schwarting and she preceded him in death on April 18, 2013

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After their marriage, Robert and Dolly farmed in Medford and he also worked at Hurd in Medford. In 1967, they relocated where they lived for 23 years, during this time Robert drove truck for the State of Illinois until his retirement in 1986. In 1990, they then moved back to Stetsonville where they owned and operated Partners Bar and Restaurant, retiring a second time in 1994. Robert was a very hard worker and enjoyed gardening. He loved his family especially his grandchildren.

SURVIVING CHILDREN: 4 Sons: Gary of Medford, Bruce of Fond du Lac, Mark (Debbie) of Ocala, Florida and Rocky (Debbie) of Crystal Lake, Illinois
2 Daughters: Betty (Dennis) Elliott of Cortland, Illinois and Lynn (Doug) Retherford of DeKalb, Illinois
Daughter-In-Law: Dora Piller of Schaumburg, Illinois

CHILDREN DECEASED: Donna and Dennis “Butch”
